a cliché title for a cliché photo. i don't think cliché is such a curse word as many think, what would the world be like without all the nice clichés?this is just an average one though, not like the best cliché taken to the max, i love trying to do that too. thinking of which...i better go shoot some...

Clichés can be good since it's a subject many people are familiar with, and since art is hugely dependant on response, the larger that response will be. More people will recognize what the concept means, I think. As long as it's done nicely, and this one is. n_n
I love the obscured face and the look in her eyes is amazing, so...seductive. But at the same time warning you away, and that alone makes you want to come closer. If that makes any sense. I love the position of the hair too, it gives her a really classically beautiful look. It borders the picture nicely, too. Well done!

Did you use Sigma macro lens for this? ( 105mm ) or any macro? if yes - that's interesting - many people claim that macro lens are not good for portrait as they are too sharp - what do you think about this?

i can't remember which lens i used, either sigma 105 macro or canon's 24-105 which is not macro. but i love using the 105sigma for close up 'portraits' i don't give a shit about what people say i dig the look

I've noticed that I often let clichés restrict me.. That I'm so afraid of being anywhere near them that my creativity suffer from it. Now that I'm aware of it, I hope to do something about it, though.
