Description
I woke up one morning from a strange dream that had this feather in it with the eye and the lines. I sketched it out on a piece of paper immediately so that I wouldn't forget it. Later that day I just felt like starting a new artwork with this motif, only in black and white.

Drawing this artwork was almost like a meditation. I chose to use only my black Isograph pen. First I sketched up the image with graphite pencil, traced the lines, and when the ink dried I erased the pencil. I felt like adding more eyes and even half-faces around the feather.

I often experience a deep flow-feeling when drawing lines and details, but this process really sucked my in and took me out of reality, but in a very good, comforting way. I truly enjoyed making this one.

Later I scanned the artwork in and I also created an 'inverse' version digitally, which you can check out here:
