ahhh i know i'm lame for not adding the rest of the side characters but I had a plan to paint and detail every single character and my hand was already dying after doing the second one w @;;; i got into a huge final fantasy craze after playing XV ( i thought the game was just ok though. I can rant about FFXV in another pic I post but let me know what you guys thought of the game too!!
) this picture took me about 80 hours total from start to finish. (without counting sleep) i realized though that as I was rendering every character, FF will always be a super nostalgic game. Every character I went through while painting them I just had flashbacks from scenes from their games and all these memories flooding back to me. cause i'll always remember things like: FF6 was the first one. FFT was the one I played where I had no idea what to do cause it was my very first tactical RPG and my friend came over my house to explain it to me! lol. FF9 was the game I played in HighSchool, the moment FF7 came out and blew everyone away... FFX being the one I played in college with interesting voice acting! FF11 taking up like 8 years of my life @___@;;; etc etc.
which FF is your favorite?
Mine hands down, even til this day, is Tactics.

Anyway, my favorite FFs are Tactics and Mobius for spin-offs, Dissidia and Record Keeper for crossovers, and IV, VII, VIII, and IX for the mainline games. I'm also among those who find the trendy FFXIII trilogy hatred stupid.

Fantastic work, as usual!
I think my favorite Final Fantasy will always by VII, it was my first FF and really one of the first RPGs I ever played. Though who knows if that opinion would change if I played it again, I'm not sure how well it's aged XD To this day, I still can't listen to Aerith's Theme without getting emotional. It's not a bad song per se, but I hate listening to it. But that aside, I love all the VII stuff, even Dirge of Cerberus, I don't care that no one else likes it XD
This picture really makes me hope that some day, that new Dissidia will get a console release like the rumors say!

I loved 7 a lot too!! I mean, besides for a few things, I still think the game is pretty solid overall. XD I think I replayed it again a while back. For me I just really loved the overwhelming amount of minigames. ( i remember my first play through i spent way too much playing the basketball game in the gold saucer of all things LOL )

Oh, me too! I know I wasted a lot of time in Gold Saucer, but I think my favorite minigame was the Fort Condor RTS thing.
I have been to Distant Worlds! They had it at the same time as Matsuricon a few years ago and I went there with my family, it was amazing! Unfortunately for me they played Aerith's Theme

Dirge of Cerberus was awesome. Though in the VII storyline, Crisis Core is my absolute favourite.

Oh cool! I don't often run into other people who enjoyed that one. I think my favorite would probably be the original VII, but I enjoyed Crisis Core a lot as well.

So we've talked so there's not a whole lot I can add to my opinion, but yeah I'm a pretty casual FF fan in comparison to some fans. I think the only ones I ever actually beat were Crisis Core (My first), VII, XIII, and XIII-2, and XV. (Got to the end of FFX but couldn't beat it because I was SUPER underlevelled, so kinda salty about that. Played 8 for like a half hour and didn't like it XD, and X-2 was too girly for me.
Anyways yeah my favorite, flaws and all, is probably XV. Idunno it's a fun game, and the first open-world game I've liked so far. (I don't like Bethesda lol). I like the realistic aethsetic, as I feel the more futuristic the games got, the less I cared about it? Idunno XV strikes a similar balance to VII for me in terms of fantasy vs Sci-fi stuff. Anyways I'll probably play more of the series down the line. I still need to finish VI, so hopefully I'll get the time.
I actually hope Square focuses on the 7 remake before making FF16 though, because alooot of people want it to be good, and based off the 10 years we spent waiting for XV, I think Nomura needs a push.
