Description
Drawn: 3/5/10So thus the continuation of the chibified looking Gods from my characters universe.
The rest of the Triumvirate Protonegoi Gods - presiding specifically over primordial flames, the soul, essence, hearth, and rebirth/reincarnation. And to finally show the OTHER TWO to join their youngest sibling here .
As said these siblings represent the triple spectrum of Maiden-Mother-Crone, in their own way.
HUR.
On the left is God Huehueteotl, the second to be 'born' into existence and representing the Mother aspect; Holds domain over the primordial Fire of Life, infusing energy into souls, Spiritual Birth and Creating new souls when needed.
The one on the right is Goddess Pei-Le, the first to be 'born' of these three siblings and represents the Crone. Being eldest thus the 'leader' of the three, she holds domain over primordial Fire, Souls in general, plus Rebirth and Reincarnation. She cleanses the Dead of their past lives before being Reborn.
I attempted to make these three Polynesian in nature when it came to design and colors. So bright bright bright colors and explosion of overloading designs! Plus including the whole butterfly incorporation since that represents the soul in various cultures.
Blegh, gotta draw their familiar Phoenix sooner or later. Probably later.
Thank goodness they're very reclusive in nature so people can't get blinded from the photoshop lens-flares and SPARKLES DESU.
And yes, their names are taken from Aztec and Hawaiian mythology. Just because.

Huehueteotl just gives off so much energy in her design- she almost looks electric. I hope to see more art of her in the future! *^*

Well there's two other pieces of Huehue, but I really need to get down and start drawing him more.... and with a more interesting ensemble. XD

Holy crap... it always seems like your gods presiding over new life always look the most evil out of the bunch XD. Id hate to see Huehueteotl's face when I first woke up XD. Amazing color combination for them both

They scare the new bound souls awake, in their new lives! The protogenoi Gods tend to look the more simplistic out of the more 'younger generational' Gods spawned after them.
Besides, Huehue is a nice old dude and kinda reclusive. But that don't mean he doesn't like a good scare now and again!

YESS. First comment.
To me, the mother looks older than the crone. I think it's the dark designs on her face. I like her design a lot though--she looks quite powerful and crazy.
Just because? Because Aztec and Hawaiian names are awesome!

Hahaa, the 'mother' aspect is a loose interpretation of the traditional 'Triple' Gods so numerous in myths. And besides, the Crone probably appreciates looking the youngest despite being the eldest.
Not because! The myths and legends of those cultures are fantastic, I named these two Gods off them as a sort of tribute. (:

Maybe looking young is part of her awesome powers? O.o
I should find out more about those mythologies. Other than a few random names, I don't really know anything about them.

YES, YOUTH YOUTH YOUTH.
Mythology is so intriguing and mind blowing all at once. XD Makes you wonder what these people were thinking when coming up with their religions/legends.
