Well, this is my first Azula pic (she's a character from Avatar:The Last Airbender)!
And also one of my first times trying shading. I think it turned out alright.
What do you think?
Of course I used a screenshot. I always use screenshots to study the characters and only when I did a lot of different poses and expressions with this chracter I feel save anough do to something more freely. 'till I reach that state (which can take some time), I use screenshots. But I don't trace the lines, I just look at the screenshot and try to catch the same expression, light and shadow, propotions ...

Nice one, the face is great : nose, eyes, mouth and shadig are really good.
I think it would've been better if the colouring of the costume was less messy, but I've tried coloring myself and I know it's hard so I don't blame you.
What kind of markers did you use ?

Thank you! I'm glad that you think that the shading and face came out alright.
I used watercolours and it's quite hard to get a nice flow with them. At that time when I did the pic, I wasn't yet so skilled with watercolours.

Yeah, Azula is a really interesting and cool charater.
In this pic I wanted to show her evil side and I think I managed quite well with the shading, too.

Ich bin nicht ganz zufrieden wie die Schattenfarbe geworden ist (zu sehr rötlich finde ich), aber es geht.
