Description
Þrúðr is the daughter of Thor and Sif and the sister of Ullr.

Not much is known other then she shares a resemblance to her father and she may or may not be the same Þrúðr who is one of the Valkyriur who serve mead to the Einherjar in Valhalla.

She is mentioned in Alvísmáll where she is promissed to wed the wise dwarf Alvíss.
When confronting Thor to ask for her hand, he agrees reluctantly only if the dwarf can answer a series of questions. Thor asks Alvíss if he knows how inhabitants of all he worlds call the sun, moon, clouds, etc… The dwarf answers them all correctly, but at the end Thor reveals he was only stalling time for the sun to rise so the dwarf would turn to stone.
