I like the detail, but I'm not fond of the idea that landing gear and steps are stored within the warp nacelles, even if they did that in TOS...

I know what you mean but the problem was that in the shuttle itself is not enough space for for the front landing gear mechanics. So was deciding to build it like the original shuttle craft in the warp nacelles.

Yes, it has an interior. It is a simple Mesh but all with own lightning and all. For a distant shoot like this is it enough.

I see the lighting for the interior is large area light.Β Vue can do this, but not very well... at least at larger scales.
