Yes I have! I think it is required to even play those games so xD Most of the games I ever played were actually for PC
(but Skyrim is my only one now since I got my computer rebooted, basically all others got eaten :'P)

You could always buy physical copies, but that's kind of a pain. Steam is so much easier and when games are on sale, they can be ridiculously cheap.
Ugh, I know the feeling. I haven't finished Dragon Age: Origins because the first laptop died (it was very old) and the second one had horrible problems that forced me to reformat everything. I'm kind of loathe to begin the game again because I'm scared that 100+ hours of gaming are going to be going down the drain again.
I don't play many video games recently (too busy with all the stuff I put in the journal), but I do keep up with the Telltale Games series (though I should throw out some maturity warnings that vary depending on the game). I also like playing Super Hexagon and Tetris as they're quite fun for passing the time. Skyrim is fun, but I don't think I enjoy it as much as I should? That said, I still sunk about 300 hours into the game. And I'm trying to finish Alice: Madness Returns on hard mode which is killing me (definite blood/gore warning for that game).

Oh that's a shame ;-; I used to have a super old game called Petz 5 (which is still one of my favorites even though it's just a plain virtual-pet one, it had so many cool options that new games this type don't have) and I don't have any computer that I'm sure wouldn't corrupt the files in some way, I know the feeling TTvTT
I guess I have some new games to check out then cause I haven't heard of these xD (except Tetris, of course).
300 hours sounds enjoyable enough I think. I personally like it the most for the scenery and the creatures/races (*cough*Khajiit*cough*) but I stay away from the main quest line because I find it kind of...boring? :'/ I don't know why.
Gosh, I love Alice: Madness Returns QwQ I never got to try it out myself but I've seen some gameplays with it and it looked amazing, I hope you have fun finishing it, Raku!

Oh man, I remember virtual pets. I was terrible and I killed every single one of them because I'm not too good at remembering to feed my pet. Thankfully, my real dog is still alive and quite happy.
I've been kind of overwhelmed recently so it's been hard for me to relax and play games. Some part of my mind is always telling me that if I'm not creating something, I'm wasting my time. Then again, I've been getting back into reading fiction so that's good.
Khajit are awesome. They are the only race I play. I tend to meander between shooting people with arrows, lighting them on fire, or stealing their stuff. I have the worst kleptomania problem in Skyrim. XD Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever finished the main quest line, but I like doing the guild quests and literally every other quest I run into.
Platforming can get a bit repetitive in Alice: Madness Returns and I admit it's got far more gore than I usually tolerate, but it's just insanely creative and the art is really pretty. I saw a Let's Play of it a few years which inspired me to get the game. I would probably enjoy it more if I lowered the difficulty, but I'm too stubborn to do so. XD
My Steam name is pure genius. The most amazing name that ever was. Definitely 100% unique and never used anywhere else.

Oh gosh xD Well in Petz 5 pets couldn't exactly die but there was a warning that they could
run away if you didn't care for them, which about 50% of my dogs and cats there did but I
found a way to bring them back by moving the files around ;v;
Aaah, I know that feel very well actually, my mind is always telling me to create stuff to the point
that I feel very tired and grumpy because I want to play games but I also want to animate things.
I'm not too much of a reader myself but I'm very glad you got back into fiction!!
I only play as khajiit aswell xD I used to try and make an elf or argonian but I always just change
my character to a khajiit in the end. And hey, we have similar fighting techniques then! I usually only light
frost trolls on fire though, it's quite annoying to kill them with arrows they seem too superior for me then xD
The bow is actually my personal favourite weapon also outside of Skyrim, I love the way arrows sound when they just
cut through the air and that the way of using it is so sneaky.
I've never finished it either. In fact I don't meet any dragons on my way because I don't want to do the main quest pff.
I like helping everyone I meet the most and doing the Companions questline so I can be a wolfcat. I probably should try doing the
guild quests too then, I've never really got to them to be honest :'0
I completely agree on both the creativity and pretty art in the game, it's a really great concept to make a dark version
of the tale in my opinion too. And you can do it, Raku! Don't let the difficulty ruin the fun! In fact in your place I would probably
also be to stubborn to lower it down, I just really love the challenge and satisfaction after you finally beat a boss or get through a level xP

I wish I could be a productivity machine, but that's not what people are. Everybody needs breaks and everybody only has so many hours they can invest in one activity before they start making garbage or getting very, very angry/sad with the world. It stinks but what can you do really?
I used to read a lot when I was younger, but school made me associate reading with being boring and horrible so I stopped for many years. Since I have a few IRL friends who read books, I figure I should give it a try again and now I love it again.
I think I got into using bows recently. I was too enamored with setting all my enemies on fire because, well, fire. But I find shooting people with a bow to be incredibly satisfying as well, especially those stealth shots that take one person out and have everyone else running around trying to find you while you snipe them. I'm not actually all that good at being sneaky (except when it comes to stealing things) so people usually find me quite fast and then I get to set them on fire.
I have fought a lot of dragons but they're mostly annoying battles instead of epic battles. But I do enjoy using the dragon shouts because one makes you jump forward a few meters really, really fast and I just enjoy travelling that way. (It also freaks the civilians and city guard out so bonus points for that.)
Yes, becoming a wolf-cat is the most awesome thing ever. Especially after you get the ring because then you can be a wolf-cat forever. I used to devour hearts mindlessly to extend the transformation until I realized how terrifying the concept was. After that, I just waited for the transformation to fade and then reignited it with the ring.
If Alice: Madness Returns had a better autosave function (there is no manual save), I would probably be fine. Instead of starting me right before the battle begins, however, it makes me go through the same platforming section for up to 8 minutes or more. Then I get a chance to fight again. And if I die, then I have to do the platforming section all over again to fight. And to die. And to platform. And fight. And die. That's the frustrating part about the higher difficulty, not necessarily the challenge of the fights (which I enjoy even if they keep killing me).
Sometimes these things just come to me. They come from the deepest recesses of my mind. And in the dark of the night, BOOM! Inspiration. And a name more unique than any other that exist on this earth.
