Appearance > Paradox is a lively dragon that has patterns of black and yellow scales, with little scars here and there from training with Quickstrike and practicing claw-to-claw combat with his adoptive father. He has a tall, built body for his age and has dark colored claws. He likes to have a happy or arrogant expression to either show strength and dominance, or happiness. The biggest scar he has is 8 inches long across his arm. He is always eating blackberries so, although mostly not noticeable with his darker scales, he would have blackberry juice on his snout and cheeks! Para's tail is very sharp like the tip of a Sandwing tail barb but does not inject venom, it resembles the tail of a snake.

Paradox is a very skilled analyst and fighter. His analyzing techniques include gathering information quickly and finding logical answers to puzzles/questions using the information he has. He has much knowledge of tactics in battle. He loves throwing weapons such as Shurikens, how they spin and slice so cleanly. Being a hopeful Whisperling really encourages one to have deception and to see through it.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

His combat, analyzing skills, and perception/deception training was from his Alliance mentor, Quickstrike. The rest of his education was at the Mezzo town school where he was a student. At the age of 3 he started going to the Mezzo Town school, Paradox was never good at “technical subjects'' as he likes to call them, like Language and History, only in Math, the Arts, and Science (mostly anatomy because he enjoyed learning the different parts of different bodies by dissecting after hunting down prey, until he found it gross, then he looked more into that during his time in the school). Before he went to the school, he learned how to kill prey and get food from Blitz, his adoptive father. He didn't learn the different subjects like the ones at the Mezzo Town school before learning there, he mainly focused on perfecting his arts in hunting and began to have an interest in the art of analysis and battle tactics.

Bloodseeking Dagger
The dagger is an exquisitely sharp, elegantly curved blade. The guard and handle are made out of whale bone, inset with delicate gold filigree and intricate ice crystal carvings. A single garnet tops the pommel of the hilt.
The Bloodseeker Dagger is enchanted to never miss when thrown or when the user (the dragon holding the hilt) decides to make a slicing or stabbing motion in close combat against any creature or object, and the blade is enchanted to never dull.
CURSE: There is a chance the malevolent dagger will twist around in the user’s grasp, stabbing the user themselves. Every time this item is used, roll 1d3. On a 1, the dagger moderately wounds the user in some non-fatal way (however multiple wounds received in a short time frame may become fatal).
LORE: Said to have been enchanted by an insane IceWing animus thousands of years ago, as a trick gift to his Queen. He was in love with her only daughter, a princess who was preparing to challenge throne, and wished for a weapon the Queen would use that would turn upon her, allowing her daughter to succeed her. Sadly, the blade did not work quite as intended, and stabbed the princess in the heart during the challenge - moments afterwards, twisting around to stab the Queen through the right talon. It is said the Queen died soon afterward in a disturbing fashion due to the wrath of the heartbroken animus (many different, gruesome tales are told on exactly how the Queen died and what happened to the animus afterward).
