long story short this was drawn at Otakon, which I just returned from. I had plenty of inspiration to draw upon and I have been told I dont do enough Naruto art. XDThis turned out to be a big hit with everyone, enough so that people wanted prints bad enough to pre-pay and put in orders for copies. (never happened before)

Some emo's do cut themselves, but not all emo's cut.
Most people who cut themselves and than 'become' emo stop cutting themselves because they have the feeling of being understanded.
I know more goths who cut themselves than emo's who cut themselves.
Emo is a style, with black and white etc..
But emo is also a music genre.
(Panic! at the disco, My Chemical Romance and Fall out Boy DON'T make emo music.)
A lot of people dislike emo, and I really don't get why. ^^

SO MANY PEOPLE try to tell me I'm emo JUST because of those very bands you named. I don't understand why people hate emos either. It's a very cool style.
Cutting actually stemmed from a small group of what I call "mall", or "uniform goths" who tried to be more similar to vampires, what with the blood and all.

A few months ago I would have agreed with you about Sasuke being emo, but I looked at Sasuke's life and I understand where his attitude is coming from.
Sasuke isn't emo he's just a loner, and a determined person.
Have you ever seen Sasuke intentionally harm himself without reason (The Forest of Death doesn't count because he needed a way to take his mind off the image of his death). Sasuke wants to reclaim his clan's honor by defeating Itachi, unfortunetly Sasuke has come to the conclusion that in order to become stronger than Itachi, he needed to follow Orochimaru.
So Sasuke isn't emo he's just a complex character with a depressing background story.
