What started out as a quickie quickly got put under some refinement. Say hello to my first fully-digital drawing since...since....I dunno. No paper used for this one, just straight MS Paint and a magazine scan for reference and colors. Which is why she looks so poorly-drawn....But newbness aside, with less than 27 hours to go, some of the cast has got to be feeling the burn. And you know that Azula's probably on the edge of a nervous breakdown--being an archenemy and all.

Mainly the caption, obviously.
Her lips were hard to do, but I'm pretty satisfied with them. Ignore inaccuracies, this is a quickie.

You need to think differently--Ozai's the primary villain, he's always been. Though, we've been presented with a lot more Azula. How do we put him up in the top slot and bring down Azula? Well, the Beach worked for changing Azula's image. Very well. And Ozai is the one who MADE Azula. He's the top villain. He took the throne from his father and brother, without caring what the cost was.
And Azula actually...doesn't seem to hate Zuko. She strives for perfection and always seeks to be the best. But I think that she might be content riding backseat--gives her more freedom but just as much power. Though, I suppose she WOULD believe herself more capable...but I look at Azula as merely an extension of Ozai. She's not the primary villain.

I guess, but I can't help but see Azula as a power-hungry, backstabbing, conniving villain. Besides, haven't you ever heard of kings making their own worst eneimes?

How the hey did you get so good with M S Paint? I keep on trying to make something look somewhat realistic, but it always just turns out to blobs.

Keep drawing. Keep working with it. Just use every feature, spend hours practicing. That's how it's done.

I hope she changes, but it would be almost as scary for her to suddenly go all Ty-Lee ish. I'm actually betting more on Aang or Zuko dying, season 3 is supposed to end their stories. That would be really sad though.

I'm hoping for Azula to die, but to die in the "OH, YES!!!" manner that befits a character as bad-blank as she is....something epic and moving....I want her to die Zuko's sister, not the evil princess.
