Description
A birthday pic for Illucian, the iridescent angel dragon, who was (at the time) desperately missing her gryphon mate (of the time; they are no longer a couple), Eclipse, whilst he was out to sea. I wanted to remind her that even though Eclipse was not there with her physically, he was still there in spirit, and his love ever shines down on her to warm her heart and soul. (Of course, the scanner ate all the pretty colors and I can't do backgrounds worth beans.

It's a very beautiful gift you drew for Illucian with her mate together. It almost reminds me of seeing similar pictures in children's books. I also enjoy the colors of yellow, blue and green.

I read your reply you wrote to Shanglong and I can understand why you now only keep this as a portfolio piece and how you parted ways from your friendship with Illucian. Most of what I know of Illucian is only from an unhinged covert narcassist of a tyrant on DA who treats everyone as inferiors since 2004 and on the web in general since the late 90s.
I think editing it to explain that they no longer are a couple is a good idea then.

Awww looking at this gem and reading the description made me cry and i am still crying . You did an awesome job with details of scales, the superb job of homogeneous colour of sky, the pathos and strong, deep feeling Illucian has and how this Masterpiece can transmit such powerful emotions to the viewer. Congrats, i truly applaud you!

Aww too bad but i can understand if the creator decided so. To be honest i don't know the story of Illucian, i've heard of her via a person that i thought to be a friend but turned to be a manipulator and coward who enjoy harass people online. I love the design of Illucian both old and new.

She used to be one of my best friends, but we parted ways after how she treated her mate, which I found completely unacceptable. I keep this pic here in my gallery only as a portfolio piece, not as any memorial to their relationship.

the background on this is amazing, i love how you colored it, you did a really good job, all the detail in the scales really does the picture good
