Instead of springs, there are hollow rubber cushions that are filled with compressed air. When air is let out, the car sits lower, and when air is pumped in the car gets higher. Old school lowriders used to use Hydraulics but airbags are more in favor now.

Of course! The project is ongoing for about a month but as I'll only be there for a weekend the slideshow will be shown on my laptop for 2 days. It will not be uploaded anywhere or used in any other way.
The purpose of the exhibition is to show the technical and aesthetic side of steampunk. Contributors are mainly from Sweden, but images (like your) are contributed from art creators, jewellery makers and photographers from all over the world!
The exhibition isn't that big, as steampunk is up-and-coming in Sweden, but we find it great that people are interested in going to the exhibition and learning about steampunk.
Is there anything else you'd like to know? Just ask away!
