Well this was quite an adventure. I played with the idea of having a sunrise in the background behind the Lonely Mountain, but in the end, snow looked neater and matched the tone of picture better. The balance is a bit off, as Thorin was meant to be more transparent, but eh. I could nitpick all day, even though I actually think I did okay.

However, every time I draw Bilbo, he still looks like a teenager. I cannot get the hang of making him look his proper age. OTL
