This animation has been rotoscoped on YouTube without credit and the tracer has taken all credit for the animations creation. Anyone that calls them out on it has their comments deleted. Only the creator can flag the animation and it seems the creator is no longer active. From what I can tell, they do not have permission to rotoscope this.

Sorry I don't think I read this properly, yes it's still an issue. And I've seen a few other artists rotoscope this and repost as original with no credit on other sites as well.

Anyone that asks if they asked for permission, myself included gets a rude reply and comments deleted. I have mentioned that they should at least credit the artist in the description and I got a rude response of course.

True. It's not fair to any artist when people do this and it's unfortunately a very popular thing to do. I understand people use rotoscoping to learn how to animate, but you shouldn't just take whatever you feel like and then act like it's your original work or like you didn't just take it.

This is VERY well done! Not only is framerate clean, but you managed to design the clouds in such a way that they're being pulled into the foreground in conjunction with the creature, almost as if it IS flying forward! This is downright amazing!

You seem like a pretty good animator. I'm trying to get a pilot for animated series done, I already have the animatic for it done. Do you have an idea of how much a minute would cost? Just in general?

Wow, I absolutely love this - very inspiring work indeed, you animate the flight so nicely! <3 I've only ever done terrestrial animations before, flight seems really interesting, and difficult, but you do it so well!

You select a software, like Pencil or Synfig for 2D, or SFM or Blender for 3D, select "export" or "render", choose file format GIF, go to DeviantArt, select "submit art", select file, choose preview and you're done!
