Description
Odette from The Swan PrincessOriginally, she was going to be the teenage Odette with the purple dress, but I decided her face looked a little too old to be that age. So, I decided to make her an age between the purple dress and marrying Derek. I modeled her off the original 2D Odette as I thought using the 3D reference would stuff me up on so many levels
Anyway, I just thought I'd try some more painting with my tablet and it turns out that I have finally improved!
Time taken: approx. 5 hours

I love it, her hair and her eyes especially! And man, don't even talk to me about the 3D version. I only just found out about the Christmas movie thing and I HATE it xP
Angry tangent aside, this is a great piece xD I'm really impressed by your progress in painting these last few months! Keep up the great artwork!

much more beautiful than in the film I mean, you actually gave her hair some coloring detail instead of it being a giant blob

haha, the last time I watched SP I couldn't get over how un-detailed the animation was compared to Disney

Eh, what can you do? Less money usually means lower quality. I still love it to bits the way it is though. After all, how can you really compete with Disney?
