Oh, screw you and your perfect talent I can't even what are you just some kind of enviable super art talent machine I can't even comprehend or end this SENTENCE because I'm so phenomenally blown away by all the talent oozing in GUSTS out of your pores and that's a LOT OF PORES.
But seriously, this is just so so SO amazing. the scaled texture, the countless detailed reflections (SOMEONE POLISHES THEIR SCALES AN AWFUL LOT), that GLEAM in the eye!! I'm just so... DID I MENTION THAT SNEER? BECAUSE THAT SNEER. IT'S JUST. THIS THING IS GOING TO ENJOY TEARING ME APART I CAN JUST TELL.

On his neck I just used a texture brush then applied a bevel and emboss. As for the others? Patience.

Wow. Apparently you have much more patience than I do. I would have just gotten bored and just did what the cartoonists do: draw three or four scales at various intervals.
