Description
The End is Nigh…
Extremely nigh. And I am not ready.
I am very happy with how this turned out, though.

Wow. A lot of symbolism here.
The background presents a thousand pieces of shattered glass, broken beyond repair. Much like the glass, Stan and Ford's bond seemed to be destroyed without hope of ever coming back together. It's a sad thing, seeing as they were once inseparable.
Meanwhile, Dipper and Mabel stand together and face one another. Though both look scared and are unsure of what lies ahead, they still hold to each other. Their love and friendship survived whereas their great uncles' fell apart. They are a wonderful example of how strong a sibling relationship can be if you stick together, help each other, and more importantly, care about one another. Dipper and Mabel got through every crazy event because they had the other sibling to help them. Seriously, these two are downright wonderful!
Excellent job with the symmetry. The contrast between geometric and organic shapes is well presented from foreground to background. The shading is good, too. Everything from the clothes to the expressions are given just the right amount of shadows, and the fact that Bill is used as the primary light source works well, both for the energy and power he possess, as well as for the fact that the light he gives off is shining on Dipper and Mabel, because these twins represent the hope we have that Bill will be defeated.
The only bit of constructive criticism I can see is that maybe the outlines, or perhaps the shading, for Dipper and Mabel could've been a little darker, seeing as certain parts (Dipper's vest among them) blend with the background. Besides that, well done!

Wow, what an intimidating comment.
Jokes aside, thank very much for this extensive, thought-out comment and for putting your time in writing it.
I find it sad how rare it is to see people actually expressing what they think in the comments of this website. It's almost like people take the "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it" rule too seriously, to the point that criticism is completly disencouraged. People are scared of saying what they think and getting blown away by someone too sensitive. While I don't expect everyone to write something as extensive as you did, at least telling me what they liked and what they dislike and think should improve, like you did, would make me a lot happier.
Maybe I should wear a badge or something saying "please tell me what you think about it" or "No, I'm not gonna get all angry and whiny because of your criticism. Do tell me what you think".
Anyway, as for your criticism, I completly agree. I could've worked better in the different shades of grey and black to make it more distinguishable. Maybe use different pencil types would've worked too...
I have recently moved to Digital Art though, since I was tired of having issues with my scanner (and, of course, it makes something like colouring easier). I am still, however, finding my comfort zone there... Still not entirely familiar with all the options in colouring, shading, and how to make my work look like what I have in mind.
Well, I am rambling again. Thanks, once again, and cheers.

You're very welcome.
First, I agree that people should offer more constructive criticism. If we don't recognize our flaws, how do we expect to improve? There's a huge difference between being an insensitive jerk and giving helpful (and polite) constructive advice. If somebody sees something they think needs improvement, they should, in detail, explain and offer advice. It's by far more useful than getting sand thrown in your eyes and spouting off vulgar language, which really does nothing except hurt your feelings and wastes your time. The fact that there are people who go as far as to discourage artists is a real frustrating shame and it hurts everyone: the artists, their skills, and the fans who love to view and collect art.
My advice to you, don't pay any attention to the haters. It's impossible to please every last person. Just keep working and build your skills. In time, you will find your style which is solely yours and earn the praise you deserve in time. I know you can do it!
And you're off to a fine start. If you can draw this excellently on paper, then you can do the same with Digital Art. Good luck, and remember: never stop learning. Every mistake can be refined and every outcome will be an improvement over the last.

Thanks again, but maybe my words came out wrong. I was actually talking about how DevianArt artists and the community generally disencourages criticism, getting overly-sensitive by people who criticize any aspect of their work, even if the criticism is constructive.

I meant the ´´end of times´´, not the show... As for the show, there is no confirmation. This season probably still has around five episodes, based on those pages at the end of every Season 2 episode. Whatever happens in today´s episode might hint us to what will happen: A movie, a third season, or the show ending on this season (something that I find very unlikely). ´´So many QUESTIONS!´´...
