okay, so its blurry and dark, but we can still do somethign with it.....firstly, read this tutorial and learn how to use the curves and then the channel mixer, they will help a lot with the darkness problem, nothign i can do about the blurryness, but uif you learn how to use the channel mixer and the curves they will help you a lot in post processing your images...good luck

Hey...is this from your photography class? Well, anyways, I really like it. Even the fact that it's not crisply in focus, i think it works cause of the setting...it's gritty and real looking...anyways, it's great, and I just wanted you to know that i thim it's really good. Tell Adam he should frame it. = )

hmm you need a brighter bright on the subject of the pic- the person.. otherwise nice- I like the play of the background line with the line in his shirt

ia actually really love this portrait...looking at it in the thumbnail, it doesnt look like much and looked like the shadows were gonna be all off, but it really works!

love the dark shadows in the eyes, the choice of place, and the starkness of the white stripe on the black shirt!

(I am an amatuer so don't take my comments too seriously)

It is a little bit too dark and blurry. I find the wall behind him is in better focus than the subject, though that could very well not be a focus problem but an exposure problem ie. the exposure was long enough to capture blur even though he is presumably standing still.

So that is the paradox I guess, it is dark (one way to remedy that is longer exposure) and blurry (one way to remedy that is shorter exposure). The only solution I can think of is lighting. I think the scene would look better dark though so just a little bit of extra light would help.

The framing is nice, except that maybe the distance is too great for a portrait.

All in all it is a good photo. Good job, and thanks for participating in my constructive comments thread.
