Another commission from my frequent commission e The Chronothaur. Sergeant Risk (Commission) check him out for awesome halo art.

This time of something other than halo but yet another character from a toy i painted and a story i have started writing but have yet to finish sigh one day i will actually complete something. Anyway for those of you that care this is Sargent Risk during his posting to the toxic planet of Gild and here is a little bit about him still a work in progress but then most things i post are so there you go.

SGT Risk designated ID code CT-7626-42 was the leader of Piranha team or simply The Piranhas.
The Piranhas were a clone trooper squad that was part of the 52nd platoon of the specialist trained Ocean company, who were trained and equipped to operate in hazardous environments such as non human breathable atmospheres or battlefields where bio/chemical weapons had been deployed.

Risk was a man that prized his individuality and often felt uncomfortable with being a clone. He was all too aware of the disposable nature of the clone army and longed for a sense of an identity that was his own and not one that was either borrowed from Jango Fett or shared by is many clone. He possessed a strong sense of duty as well as a responsibility to look after his clone "brothers" under his command which prevented him from attempting leave the army and finding some sort of peaceful life away from the conflict.

Risk earned his Nickname like so many clones during his training. The name coming from Risk's desire to distinguish himself from those around him a desire that would regularly lead him to take greater risks in order to achieve his objectives. Risk's urge to standout extended beyond his actions to the way that he presented himself at first physically. At first he had grown a beard a , neatly trimmed goatee.
He later changed his hair colour from black to a dark blond and later he had the left side of his face and his right arm tattooed with a pattern that was a mixture of tribal patterning and electronic diagram to further change the way he looked next to his brothers. After changing the way he looked Risk tried to change the way he sounded. Risk cultivated a Pantoran accent, taking the time to fluently learn the dominant native language on the moon of Pantora so that when he was done he would able to speak in a convincing accent. He would later find the language useful when serving with his first Jedi padawan even if he was a little embarrassed of how he came by his ability to speak it.

Risk missed out on the battle of Geonosis as he was along with the rest of 52nd platoon finishing his extended training for Hazardous operations and so his first deployment was a month into the war as part of a smaller strike forces attack on a Seperatist mineral refinery.
The mission was a great success but it was almost Risk's last mission as well as his first.
Towards the end of the attack he took a shot to the head from a scatter blaster being used by a Trandoshan mercenary that the Seperatists had hired to organise security at the refinery. It was only luck that prevented the shot from killing Risk outright. He was knocked unconscious and med-evaced. Risk had life saving medical procedures performed on him and then spend the following month recovering before returning to active duty with three new scars dotted in a triangle on his right temple.

A month after returning to active duty Risk along with the rest of Ocean company was assigned to defend Gild and the surrounding system. The planet Gild was a miserable and toxic place that had no value on its own but was just too close to one of the republics largest arms manufacturers for comfort and Ocean company were sent to the planet to prevent it from being used as a staging point for the Seperatist's Droid armies.
Risk was assigned to listening station Gamma 12 on Gild and it was here that he met a Pantoran Jedi padawan Name Gianna Magan who he would serve with till the end of the clone wars.

Risk experience strange events on Gild that tested him and his troopers and not all under his command survived their posting to Gild.

so any way there is a taster of what i have thought up for Sargent Risk i do mean to post some sort of story relating to what actually happened on Gild at some point its in bits at the moment.
