Aww, I love these two <3

For those of you who have no freaking idea of what I'm talking about (which is probably most of you), this is the only guy-guy pairing that I actually like.

Don't kill me..

But they're so damn adorable. They're Nicky (the one in the hoodie with the green skin) and Rod (the one in the suit, glasses, and blue skin) from the musical, Avenue Q. If you value moral innocence, I recommend not seeing it. It's so sad that you'll cry until you look like you've been standing in the rain for an hour, and it's so funny it'll make you laugh so hard you pee your pants (don't worry, nobody'll notice, you'll already be soaked from the tears)

But I love it. So anyway, I'm drawing part of the song "If You Were Gay" sung by Nicky, who is telling Rod that he can come out of the closet anytime he likes. (But frequently through the song, Nicky proclaims that he, himself, is not gay)

They're longtime roommates and best friends, and also bug each other to world's end. Rod is secretly in love with Nicky, and is gay- but won't admit it. Nicky knows that Rod is gay, but not that Rod loves him. So yeah.

And...

They don't hook up by the end of the musical!

AND THEY SHOULD! *cries*

Oh, and the weird skin colors. They're puppets, Avenue Q is a sort of spoof of Sesame Street. They're made of felt. So yeah.

And I didn't shade because I totally didn't feel like it, and also, I think it kind of contributes to the puppet-kinda-feel that the whole musical has. Tell me if I should shade it
