He’s been living in this lake as long as he can remember himself being a turtle. Nowadays there is a huge recreation area around the lake for all the humans but in times he’d hatched out it was a park belonging to a family of great antiquity and many noble men came here to have a leisurely conversation about literature or science, medicine researches or war policy, sometimes they read poetry and novels by roles and there was no place for any small talk and loud noises. He loved to lie on a shore and listen to these people’s speech feeling so much pleasure of different languages’ structures, pleasant intonations and the beauty of logical constructions, collecting new words and trying to understand their meaning from the context. It was a great joy for him to get a lot of fresh information every day and to think of it while making his daily things. In his dreams he talked to humans pointing out their logical mistakes and suggesting some conclusions they couldn’t get themselves but in real he had no voice and wasn’t even able to write anything they could ever read. Many years passed by and now he has to hunt on interesting conversations avoiding gossips and chatters. However, there are so many changes in modern life that at least new words come to him lightly though they are usually not so long and beautiful anymore.
