Ships and boats floated here and there blinking with their signal lights like colorful will-o-wisps which you can meet there at night nowadays and she says, these are the souls of sailors attached to their sea forever. It is something magical about this place. Beasts and birds living there are speaking in human voices and if you take a look at the water in a heart of the swamp your reflection can talk to you about your fortune or even get out of the water and go wandering around the world as your doppelganger. She knows many legends about this place being just fakes for some tourists - and many fairy tales being true stories in fact. She knows all the secret paths to the underswamp kingdom and all the danger creatures you’d better stay away from will never harm her. She’s been living there for centuries, her shell has been overgrown by lichen and moss but she’s still full of life’s energies and is never tired of gathering new and new riddles, secrets and mysteries, maybe her endless life is just another magical gift of the swamp she lives in.
