Description
Acrylic on canvas, 20x24. Spring 2007. I was inspired to work on a Klimpt homage after viewing Burberry's work (saved in my favorites). I used patterns and imagery from Klimpt's various paintings and made adjustments to the patterns as it suited me. I used snapshots of myself for the figure but painted the head at a more unnatural angle, in the manner of Klimpt. This photo was taken in low lighting, for an additional view, see my scraps folder.
