Something that bothers me on both sides here--someone who likes/has fetish art : "If you don't like my fetish you hate me"
Someone who doesn't like fetish art: "you have a fetish? ew gross, stop drawing that"
Can't we just, oh, I dunno. Not whine about what others like?Β
Personally I don't like a lot of fetishes, Vore creeps me out, Inflation seems/looks painful, and I think fetishes based around bodily functions are unsanitary. But if that's what you are into I'm not going to attack you or think of you less for it, and i'm certainly not about to attack anyone's creative freedoms. And to fetish artists and such, just because someone doesn't share your interest in a fetish does not mean they hate you for having one or that they will automatically be rude to you for it.
Just do what you like, and if someone is doing something you don't like, ignore it and go on to look at things you do like. problem solved.Β

I didnt see it as a death threat. But the only context ive ever heard "their funeral" being used in is in regards to messing up so bad they die. Ex. "If you eat that spoiled sushi, it's your funeral".

Just because someone hates a specific fetish doesn't mean that
they hate the people who have them. Like, I hate the foot fetish,
but I don't hate the people who have them. They can't control what
fetish they get, so the least you can do it not hold it against them.
Even if it's a more controversial fetish, like rape, bestiality, or even
pedo/hebephilia, being an asshole to them won't solve anything, it'll
only make you look like a jackass.Β
If that person is being a dick, then that's a whole other story.

And to a point I agree with what you said on the controversial ones though I wouldn't consider those fetishes, they are paraphanelias which are tied to mental and emotional disorders. I absolutely would not be ok with them harming animals or children or anything but above all else I feel these people need help, not hate, and if they aren't acting on these urges that could harm someone more power to them, i'd rather have that then them acting on such things.

After going through some...stuff, I've gotten quite a few reasons to
hate those paraphilias, to the point of despising them, but even with all of that, I still take care not
to act like an asshole to them. It's better that these people don't act on their urges and actually
wish to get help for those paraphilias than to have an actual kid be sexually assaulted.

Oh..? Im sorry to hear you've been hurt by things like this, I feel most people do, despise pedophilia and zoophilia and such, as people we almost all recognize that when it physically or mentally harms another, especially another who can not defend themselves, that it is morally and socially unacceptable. But all the same, a pedophile who can get help and control themselves or even be cured of such things, is still a person and may be a good one at that, but if they dont get help and they just get attacked they wont be encouraged to help themselves and the result may end up hurting an innocent child, same for the other issues as well.
