Description ...I warned you about my Poodle kick I need to take a break from them and think over my other characters some.

Anyways. Just three random Poodles, obviously Moulin-Rouge inspired as you would probably infer from the title, though I think the Triplets of Belleville are in there somewhere too. I was just having fun with accessorising and styling here, whee. As far as names go.. the apricot is Giselle, the cafe-au-lait is Elodie and the blue is Babette.

I need to watch Moulin Rouge again. You'll probably see some canine cosplay after that

I love the colors in this picture, and the expressions on their faces. Really good. I especially love the white poodle's curls in her ears/fur <3 Awesome job!

Yes, it really has this specific French mood. OMG, I wish the world was more of this gentle fluggy style! Even evil is not this demonic when it's wrapped into poodle fur.

Gah, this is just . . . beautiful o_o! You do that fluffy effect in the fur so well! Really cute characters; they all have a lot of personality. I especially like the one in the middle. She has such a sweet expression and I love how her hair puffs out from beneath the bandana. Very nice!

How adorably funny! ^___^ Giselle looks like she's the one out of the three that can create a girl's-night-out misadventure before midnight. Babette is my favorite though, something about how you've drawn her is really appealing to me. Although, I like how Elodie is dressed almost in twenty's accessories-- that's hilarious! All very well done, this has such personality.

Oooooh I'm loving this. Especially seeing as I watched Moulin Rouge only last week so I'm imagining them doing some sort of canine can-can as we speak! Giselle's expression is wicked, and you can just sense the personality emanating from her - the tough toots who would do anything to get what she wants even though deep down she's got a heart of gold. Elodie with the best eyeshadow I have ever seen!!-- is warm, almost motherly, experienced and guides the other two. Babette, whos colouring I LOVE, is like the happy-go-lucky one, carefree and admired by all even though she doesn't realise it!

I love how your pieces and characters cause you to feel so much for them!The styling in just great, the little additions like the jewels, and feathers are so perfect. And they're so FLOOOOFY. I'm loving your poodle craze at the min!

These are great! I love the personalities here. Hahahaa. And the names! So very French. I'm not sure if those are names from Moulin Rouge becaues I've never seen it, but really.

Thankee. I chose French names on purpose, you just HAVE to do real French poodles at some point. Just 'cause they're fun Nope they're not from Moulin Rouge, just influenced by it. And OMG you have to see iiit! I love Baz Lurhmann's movies, the costumes and artistic shots are always a treat

LOL, these aren't characters from Moulin Rouge, they were just inspired by it. (not like any of the other courtesans got much recognition anyways.) However as I said I DO plan to draw fanart that is actually characters from the movie, and then you'll get to see her

Thanks! Hmm, I just used Photoshop CS. There's a soft, non-fuzzy brush that I discovered one day in there somewhere and I've been using that for painty effects ever since
