My, oh my, how things have changed. How could it have come to this?
Each character from has some tragedy fall upon them, each one of them changes in the end. Who do you think changes most drastically?

I wanted to encompass all the feels that Death Note gave me...which usually ended with tissues and lots of crying
This took so long! Each picture took around 3-4 hours, this file is HUGE and my computer almost had a heart attack when I saved it...so many tears...T.T
So this is pretty much their first-ish and last-ish appearances. The lyrics on the picture are from the English recordings for the Death Note Musical which I am obsessed with, from the song "Only Human" which is sung by Ryuk and Rem. The line "they're only human after all" always makes me shudder~

XD I'm looking forward to that day. I think the hardest thing is to find someone who can sing Near's voice. I mean, you got to admit that it's not easy to find a boy (or a girl XD) who sounds very young and childish and still manages to sound very badass at the same time.
I even imagine if this was canon, it would be the first time Near sings a rock song. And because he could finally express what he felt and thought after all this time holding them up, after the song is finished, he'd say: "Mello, this is so... AWESOME. Let's sing it again." which would leave everyone else staring in awe XD (I made him sound so OOCXD)

I can do a pretty good Near voice, but I'm pretty average when it comes to singing... so thatΒ likely wouldn't work out.Β I actually figured it'd be harder to find a convincing Mello, but now that I think about it you areΒ probably correct. And you're totally right about Near, if he'd sung this, that'd be his reaction...so funny X'D

Yeahh, I'm that slow. But the good news is the mid-term tests are over so I might have more free time at hand to actually draw thisXD) Again, you should totally draw itXDD

This is absolutely gorgeous, and I just love that "they're only human after all," because while some of the characters may think that they are invulnerable, they really are still just brilliant, brilliant humans. I just...the feels...and I can't...
