Hey! So I got this magical flash of inspiration at midnight last night to draw this. It's just a sketch but if there is anyone willing to buy this I'd sell it. I'm about to go on a trip and could use a little extra moolah~ if not, that's okay too ^.^ but please note me if you or someone you know is interested. I may or may not be drawing other characters like this. (Tan paper is so great)Anyways! Here is Mello. He is just extremely fun to draw and I have no idea why. It's probably the hair. His hair is pretty bae. So yeah. This took about 1.5-2 hours. I lost track of time though so don't hold me to that. It's Copic marker and colored pencil with some super handy white acrylic paint.

Very cool, and it has been ages! I think that he'd be fun to draw because of his hair. And it's fun to imagine him in the way that one might imagine his character, having narrated the BB Murder Cases... That does give him cool personality and edge, never before heard... Love this!

He's such a multi-faceted character, that's why I love him so much. Through the LABB book you can tell how much he looks up to L, and yet he doesn't over-romanticize him. He's brilliant and temperamental and quick-witted, and yet he is a deeply emotional person... *sigh* I really love these characters...I could go on for days...

I also notice how Mello does that in LABB. It's great too! He goes back and tells stories about L as a person. I enjoy it, knowing the behind-the-scenes stuff I would have killed to know sooner.... but the wait is worth it. <3
Ain't nothing to not love about these characters.... As multi-faceted and such that they are, you would swear that they were real.... <3
I'm still personally waiting for some crazy person out there to become L.... Then I will find him and marry him. Nope, I'm not crazy..... *fangirling*

Just on his eyes, his rosary and the outline of his face. Oh, and some on the fur too! ^.^ I really love drawing Mello because of how dynamic his character is, he's just emotive and it's fun to bring his personality out through his eyes

Feel free! It's the best way I've found to add depth to things. Colored paper, marker, pencil, white paint is my go-to! I get a lot of inspiration from Marcello Barenghi! I don't know if you've ever watched any of his videos on youtube, but the way he draws things is just incredible.Β
