I love this. The posing is wonderful, very intimate. Now I could be imagining it, but it looks like the things the side of Inferno's head are missing? This is positively amazing, especially since you did it with MSPaint.

heh, I used the Universe Inferno toy for reference - while Red stayed in his original G1 form. Can be confusing, sorry. (but im in love with Inferno-toy's beautiful face and Red's old design... hence the "mixed" pairing.)
even if here nothing can be seen of Ferno's face from this rather odd POV

lol i wasnt thinking about angles while drawing. It just came to me so i really didnt had a headache how to do it... Srsly, if i were considering those i had have been backed off!

Aww thanks for the nice comment! Red has a shy personality - at least on the personal life. Also, he is delicate comparing to his lover. Inferno being caring by nature just fits him perfectly.

Problem is mine... *sighs* i have almost hundred drawings on paper and just cant find the stamina to put them thru the phases of digitalizing in order to get a postable pic...

naww, thats the clue. Im screwing up sketches like bad proportioning or misplaced parts and only can fix that by copypasting/resizing until correct - on the computer screen. Otherwise i should erase well-captured parts which would result the horrible fact that i could not re-do it on the proper place...

Haha i printed out 8 pages full of drawings of these two, for reference... Mostly yfm's works and screenshots. Also, i have both sets of toys (original G1 and Universe/Henkei) to pose and for details.
I like better G1 Red Alert's and Universe Inferno's design. So i just mix up designs where i feel fitting better...

I'm gonna have to do that too I think. Yfm's stuff's great for character references because all their stuff's so detailed! 
Aaand I can't agree with you more. I love G1 Red's design better. The shoulder doors make him look at least a little less like a Sideswipe clone... and I tend to do a lot of mixing and matching for the same reasons.

heh, i have Masterchief figure and a Microman. Those are way more poseable than any TF toy and great for posing reference. I bought the Microman for that, MC just happened to be around when i was desperately looking for a partner for ..ahem... certain pics. Would you imagine they are a couple now?
