Page sixxxxxxxI really don't like the top two panels but I decided to keep them anyways. GO SWIFT!!! GET DAT DAMN CYNDAQUIL FROM KILLING YOUR TREE!!!
I love that Shadow ball through, yeah I did use a ref so I could make it perfect.

I'm going mostly by the anime, not much on the game really. Since TM's don't really exist in the anime, and Eevee'a use Shadow Ball, I do it too. ^^

yeah but doesn't a TM or HM have the information aboput how to learn it? how else could Ash know how to teach it? I mean it's not like Ash can use irontail

Well, if you remember from the anime, there was one pokemon who started off teaching Pikachu a bit of Irontail, Ash just built up on that but making him hit against the rocks. ^^'
Also, if you remember Pikachu didn't use TM's to learn moves like Volt Tackle, Electro Ball and Thunderbolt now did they?

True, but I know that when I breed to get a Piplup it knew Ice Beam, Surf, Waterfall and Hydro pump and it just hatched and was lvl 1
I don't really go by the games much and since Eevee in the anime didn't have to be taught Shadow ball, then I'm thinking this is fine too. Not really such a big deal.

True, but none otherwise, Eevee's in the anime don't need TM's to learn Shadow Ball, it already knew the move.

wait how does swift know that he can use shadow ball when he just realizes hes just become a pokemon and eevee dosent learn shadow ball tell it evoles into umbreon

Actually, Eevee's can use Shadow Ball when they haven't evolved, as from what I have seen in the anime, and all pokemon just have that certain instinct in my opinion, think about it, when a pokemon first hatches they can use moves correct? It's probably just on instinct that Swift can use those moves when she was turned into an Eevee. You can also look at the PMD special episodes that were on TV, they could use moves too. ^^
