Where zoo animals live among humans as if there was no real difference. Joey and his mother had to deal with those pesky monkeys each episode.
One cartoon ended with Joey and his mother walking down the street with at least one human. The following soundtrack dialogue I recall (note: the name of the man is guessed. I no longer know where my tape is now).
Mother (Katy?): I'm so glad those monkeys are back in the zoo.
Joey: Oh didn't you know? Mr Gregor took them back !
Katy? What on earth for ?
Joey: Well, he said they still had some damages to work off.
(scene shifts to monkeys struggling with a ladder)
One: This is all your fault !
Two: Ah, shut up !

Meanwhile the Monkey Biz Gang were obviously prisoners. Meanwhile the Kangaroos could come and go as they pleased.

I used to watch that show saturday morning on cbs.Had a funky song to it.I kinda thought they kinda hard on the monkeys.I think they just wanted to go home.But then again it was just a cartoon.K.O.KATIE!!

I used to watch Supercade, and wish it had not been cancelled. I recall most of all the Kangaroo segment. The following dialogue I recall -maybe from having taped it.
Kate and Joey are walking down the street with some human guy ,a blank-out in my memory (also blanked in my memory is the name of the zoo director. I will call him Mr.Gregory here.)
Kate: I'm so glad the monkeys are back in the zoo.
Joey: Oh,didn't you know ? Mr.Gregory brought them back !
Kate: (baffled) What on earth for ?
Joey: Well, Mr.Gregory said they still had some damages to work off...
(scene shifts to monkeys on a rickety ladder.)

#2: Ahhh, shut up ! (wrap-up music )

I liked that cartoon show.
Joey walking down city streets like any other kid. Nobody bats an eyelash.
The only things that annoyed him were these 3 monkeys.

Donkey Kong Verses KangarooCrazy Hand asked, "Can any of you guess who the first video heroine was?"
Samus rolled her eyes. "Mrs. Pac-Man, duh."
Pac-Man smiled. "I couldn't have started a family with a better gal!"
Crazy Hand corrected, "Okay, granted, but the first female video game hero NOT a destaff counterpart of her spouse!"
Samus said, "That's easy, ME!"
Crazy Hand saidm "Close, but not quiet..."
Donkey Kong asked, "You mean Kangaroo? Released in arcade in 1982, and on Atari's million different consoles in 1983?"
Pikachu glared. "How did YOU KNOW?!"
Donkey Kong shrugged. "Before your time kid. She came out just before the crash, she's kinda forgotten. She also stared with me on the Arcade Power Hour... which Nintendo has never released on DVD or VHS!"
Master Hand huffed. "Oh cry me a river."
Diddy Kong asked, "Hey DK! I'm pretty sure it was Cranky Kong who stared in that part of the show! You were riding on a motor cycle while gramps was kidnapping Pauline. You're leaving out how you met her one on one!"

My Kanky (M the Magnificent) could not be victimized this way.
For one thing, he may the same size as Joey, but he has the strength of Charles Atlas did in his hey-day,
He also has extra-speed, extra-agility, extra-stamina.
You reminded me of him. I haven't done any work on him since 25 years ago.
