a little illustration for the first book in a favorite series of mine.kinda weird, if you can't already tell.
it'd make more sense if it were colored . . .
these are just the basically main characters.
-the crazy tall guy on the left in none other than Mr. Hibernius Tall, manager of the Cirque. he's holding a ticket.
-then Mr. Larten Crepsley, my second favorite character of this series. (my fave comes in the third book). he's a vampire. ... with like, no fashion sense whatsoever. but oh well, he totally rocks. ... yes he is wearing slippers. you'd have to read the book to understand . .
-then the main character - Darren Shan. also the author's name. He's holding Mr. Crepsley's performing spider, Madam Octa. . . *shudders*
-and last, but obviously not least, is Steve Leonard. the best friend of Darren. why is he bleeding? read it. find out.
i have to say this was quite successful (except Mr. Tall's hand...).especially since i was venturing into areas of stuff i've never drawn before.
like a half-bald head, and some weird clothes. ... and a spider.
