in book 9 they get chased by dragons.... if that part made of swigly lines that looks a bit like a desert was a lake, that would TOTALLY be a scene from book 9...

i didn't used to be able to, but i found that some simple gesture lines can work quite well in creating most any part of one. then i just clean it up a bit to it looks more real than abstract

I think the fireball's direction is slightly off from the dragon's mouth. It should be a little bit in front of the runner.
