Description
i'll probably scrap this later.anyway, this started as something for me to draw in memory of 9-11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers, but obviously ended up turning into something rather worthless...
it had meaning to it at one point, but i lost it... something about how it took us down a peg or two in surprise, but we recovered rather quickly... meh.
i've been all sorts of angsty and restless most of the day. i wanted to do something significant, but that didn't turn out...
*moment of patriotic saddened silence*
...
i am still miffed that several students in my class did not remain standing and did not care during the moment of silence this morning. maybe it was because the school failed to mention the importance of the date >.<
i realize 7 years may seem like a lot, but hell, have we already forgotten?
and while i'm already in this mood, what the hell is with my classmates these days? am i the only one that finds it incredibly dishearteneing that only I, the foreign exchange student, and a very small handful of others actually passed the quiz on our National Anthem in US History class? seriously. there is something wrong with that.

Well, at my school, nobody stood up in particular. We all just sat or stood depending or where we were when the announcement came on. Some people were even talking. I was rather disturbed and disgusted by the lack or respect.

dude, I would so totally fail that quiz as well >.<, but that may be because I was taught it, so not entirely my fault. And I also totally forgot to stay standing during the moment of silence, mainly because I'm so used to just sitting down after the texas pledge.

lol. at least it was only over the first verse. did you know there are four total?
well, teachers at my school usually make the students stand up anyway, so the kids were sort of directly trying to disobey, which makes it worse >.<
