Description
_____________________Walls crumble under Nature’s power,__________________Love works at the centre in Eden’s bower.
______________So many creations, these pictures of time,
_______They fade in the light of their meaning sublime.
___The fate of the man-child, the meaning of man,
_____Whose soul seeks the perfect which his eyes seek in vain,
__________And under pain, pleasure- transformed into light,
____________Shines the peace of all being, time is the reply.
_In a dark room at the end of the hall,
____There are many disillusionments in these walls,
_______Every day, same time, same place,
___________And it fades away without a trace.
_____________Buried in some damned dusty corner,
_________That even the light doesn’t visit anymore,
_____One deity stirred, contorted by dying,
__The face of a person who never stops crying.
Eterne alteration now follows, now flies,
And the sum of the world in soft miniature lies,
These are all the things I can create,
And all of you will always follow the bait.

"The Sphinx" - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Room of Masks" - [link]
this was an assignment in creative writing, we had to take lines from other poems and put them together in another way. i had to submit it as a visual poem, that's the only way it would work >.<
btw, the preview image is a thumbnail of an art project i'm finishing up.
