BACKGROUND INFO
Past: The mare belonged to a group of breeders who mistreated their broodmares. She was abused due to her hatred for stallions. She started a fight with one of their prized stallions, damaging one of his legs, which caused them to lash out at her in anger. It was near impossible for them to breed naturally with her. Her sister, however, was of the same colouring, and had a better temperament, so when they sold a group of their oldest broodmares, they sold Sleater too. She was a very nervous horse, terrified of people, and of new things. Mika bought her on a whim, which overall was a terrible idea. But it saved her life. Mika sought out the help of a professional trainer, Florence Adair, and with her help, and years of patience, Sleater became a decent mount once her rider knew how to control her.
Personality: Very timid and easily frightened. But with a confident rider who gains her trust, she tries her best.
Strengths: Has a wonderful gait and holds herself very nicely. Has a genuine passion for jumping.
Weaknesses: Easily spooked. Does not trust easily. Suited for one rider only, as it took years to finally gain her trust.
