Death Battle: Jafar Vs DiscordDescription
A Battle between 2 comedic chaos villains! They're both magic, they both have similar chaos abilities, they both can transform, they both have snake-like forms, they're evil (until Discord reformed), they both have enslaved a kingdom and it's leader, they both knew royalty before they were shown on-screen and they both returned after they were defeated. And they both will be battling to the death.
Intro
Villains can be many things... magnificent, horrific, self-obsessed, philosophical... but special attention goes to the villain that makes you laugh. A battle between two comedic yet diabolical villains (Though one has reformed).
Jafar the power hungry treacherous advisor turned sorcerer than all powerful Genie
and Discord the former evil spirit of Chaos and disharmony.
I'm Swift and it's my job to analyze their weapons armors and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

I'm gonna have to agree with on this one. Even if we go with Genie Jafar who is the strongest of Jafar's forms, he has too many weaknesses and limitations, while Discord does not.

Isnt Genie Jafar solar system level? He moved around planets in his hands before he was sucked up in his lamp.
But I agree. Here's what I think happens...
Discord during the fight grabs Jafar's lamp rubs it and makes 3 wishes. First he wishes to undo all the damage done in the place they are fighting at (Likely somewhere in Equestria or to undo what Agrabah became under his rule), then he wishes for Jafar to humiliate himself infront of everyone, and 3 he wishes for his defeat or death. Then he walks to the Genie and highfives him.

He might be solar system level, but as far as we know Discord is pretty much the same as Q from Star Trek, who is multiversal level and discord has proven both in canon and in the comics he can open portals to other dimension and his powers work in other realms. He can snap his fingers and anything could happen, where as Genie Jafar's biggest weakness is his lamp which Discord should have no problem dealing with and like all Genie's in the Aladdin universe he can't kill anybody, he can't make others fall in love, he can't bring the dead back to life. Discord doesn't have these limits.
I like your story idea, but Jafar can grant the death wish as genies in the Aladdin universe can't kill.

Tell me if Discord is really that powerful then shouldn't Tirek have gotten a lot bigger and stronger when he absorbed his magic? Shouldn't he have been too powerful for Twilight even with the princess's magic to stop him?

When Tirek absorbed Discords magic it just made his own magic stronger. but he couldn't use Discord's magical abilities because as they stated in the final 2 parter of season 9, Only Discord can use his chaos magic, no other creature can control it.

It is possible. Discord's biggest weakness was that he let his guard down, because he really trusted Tirek. He thought he had a friend who would let him do his usual thing, but he learned the hard way that the mane 6 were his true friends. If Tirek hadn't stolen his magic Discord could just snap his finger and all the stolen magic would return to the ponies they were stolen from and what happens to Tirek, well that depends on what Discord would have had in mind.

sorry but in this case there is no real battle.. you are putting an normal sorcerer.. VS .. an reality bending demigod, an pure being of Chaos.. Nah There is NO WAY in Hell that Jafar can win this, not even an micro chance. Hell Sombra would probably be able to beat Jafar.

I dont think normal is the right word. He wished to be the most powerful sorcerer in the world and can breath fire, summon objects like swords, transform others and transform himself into a giant cobra.

Discord doesn't have that limitation He can just do whatever he wants, if you wanna compare Discord with someone, The Bill chipher is an better comparing then Thanos. As He also has unlimit power like discord.
Yes.. Jafar is an all powerful Genie... But he is not an Free Genie like our Aladdin's Genie. Meaning he still has an weakness which is an very BIG one.. The Lamp.
Scenario 1: Discord could just either take the lamp and become Jafar's new Master, in which Jafar can't do anything against Discord. THE END. Discord WINS
Scernario 2: Discord could snap his finger and the lamp would be destroyed which destroys Jafar as well. THE END. Discord WINS
Soo you see.. Jafar have too many weakness while discord has non.. except for the Elements of Harmony. Which Jafar really don't have or can use. and even if he would try and hit discord with an Blast, Discord could just snap his finger and the Blast itself turns to Ballons or something else. Even if Discord would be Hit by some reason, He would just walk it off, as seen in the premier of Season 9.
