On what originally was a normal day for a family visit to Ponyville, the prince of the Crystal Empire’s day took a turn for the weird when he was accidentally turned into a little filly by his sister, who was practicing a youth spell.

His day and the whole weekend took a turn for the worse when he was forcefully dragged by the CMC into their misadventures in attempts to get their cutie marks, and when his wife arrived, finding out about his predicament, that she only worsen by treating him like the filly he now was, she even seemed to prefer him that way.

And to twist the knife in deeper, on the last day of his weekend visit, despite doing all she could, his sister failed to find a way to turn him back.

In the Golden Oaks Library, the stallion turned filly is wrapped around one of Twilight’s front legs that he is crying into.

Shining Armor: Please Twi, say it isn’t so! Please?

He looks up to her with big begging eyes, while still holding onto her front hoof, that could rival that of Apple Bloom’s from the first episode when she asked Twilight if she could stay for brunch. She looks at him feeling both guilt and remorse. She then gently gets him off her before giving him a sincere heartfelt apology.

Twilight: I’m sorry, brother. There’s nothing I can do. If there was, I’d do it in a heartbeat. *Turns around* But… I can’t. I just can’t.

The grown stallion permanently trapped in a young filly’s body looks down as he starts shaking his head no.

Shining Armor: This can’t be happening.

Twilight: And if I can’t do…then…I don’t think anypony can. I’m sorry to say it, but you may be stuck like this for the rest of your life.

He lets that sink into his head for a bit before. As he falls into despair, he suddenly feels his wife's hooves being wrapped around him.

Cadance: Until then, I’ll take good care of you, as my daughter.

Shining Armor: Daughter?

Cadance: Mmm hmm. Mommy’s little princess.

Cadance and Gleaming Shield return to the empire, where she prepares him for his princess coronation, as he will now be a princess and her daughter. She dresses him up in the outfit shown in the artwork.

Cadance: Oh, Gleaming Shield, you look ever so adorable.

Gleaming Shield: *Under his breath* Whatever.

Cadance: Now, it's time for your coronation. Please be on your best behavior for mommy.

The stallion turned filly reluctantly makes his way to the balcony, where Princess Cadance addresses the crowd below them of the new princess of the Crystal Empire.
