Sunny Starscout's voice is heard narrating

Earth Ponies... Pegasi... Unicorns...Alicorns.

Long ago, the tribes lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when an Earth pony got hurt by a Unicorn.

Only Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship could reunite the 3 races, but when the world needed her most, she vanished.

Many years passed and I discovered the new chosen one, an alicorn colt named Solar Spell.

And although his ways in the magic of friendship are great, he has a lot to learn before he’s ready to fix anything.

But I believe... Solar can save the world.

We take you to the city of Maretime Bay, where a portal in the sky opens up at, releasing young Prince Solar Spell who falls from it. But being use to that by now, he uses his magic to teleport himself to the ground on his feet instead of falling face first onto it. The portal closes.

Solar: Okay, what different time, universe, or dimension did I wind up in this time?

He observes the coastal city consisting entirely of Earth Ponies. Nearby was Sunny Starscout, who just closed up her smoothie cart for the day, on her way back to the Brighthouse while humming a tone. She stops when she notices the young colt standing in the middle of the street, who seemed lost. Thinking he might need help, she begins to approach him to ask if he was lost and needed help, but stopped and gasped when she got close enough to see his horn and wings, meaning one thing.

Sunny: *Runs up to him from behind* You're an alicorn!

The young colt turns around to see the mare, who like him has an orange coat and white hooves. She also bears a slight resemblance to a famous stuntpony he met before.

Solar: Uh, yeah, why is that a big deal? Wait... Scootaloo, is that you?

Sunny: Big deal!? Of course, it's a big deal! There are no other Alicorns in Equestria. At least there hasn't been any in years. Oh, and my names not Scootaloo. I'm Sunny Starscout.

What she says about there being no alicorns pique's his curiosity.

Solar: Then... whose the current ruler of Equestria? And could you tell me where I am?

Sunny: Ruler of Equestria? All three lands have their own ruler. And you're in Maretime Bay.

The colt thinks to himself in his head “I'm going to hazard a guess and assume I'm in the future. I should get to the archives for the time scroll pronto before I end up altering the timeline again”.

Solar: So... do you think you could help me get to Canterlot? *Smiles hopefully*

Sunny: Canterlot?... That place is ancient history... and in ruins. Why would you want to go there?

Solar thinks to himself again “Canterlots gone? How? That city has been the capital of Equestria since the reign of Queen Galaxia and King Cosmos”.

Solar: I… I just need a place to stay, while my parents are gone.

Sunny: Well, why didn’t you say so? You can stay with me and my friends at the Crystal Brighthouse. But you might want to wear something to cover those up. Ponies around here tend to overreact to things that are out of the ordinary.

Solar obliges and gets a brown button up coat before following her to the Brighthouse.

Sunny: So, where are your parents anyway? Are they Alicorns too?

Solar: They're...out of town...WAY out of town, and only one of them is an alicorn.

Sunny: I see. I would love to meet them someday. Also show them around Maretime Bay, now that everypony can live here, or anywhere for that matter.

Solar: What do you mean by that, did something happen?"

Sunny: Yes, the three tribes were separated, until we reunited everypony of course.

Before Solar could ask her what happened that caused this separation, they arrived at their destination.

Sunny: Here we are.

The young colt is impressed at its beauty, architecture, as well as the rainbow inexplicably coming from the top of it. He enters and the first of Sunny's friends to greet him is Izzy Moonbrow, who mistakes him for a fellow unicorn due to his hidden wings. She gasps before rushing over to him.

Izzy: Hi friend! My name is Izzy Moonbrow.

She holds out her hoof for a hoofshake, that Solar accepts.

Solar: I'm Solar Spell.

Izzy: I can't believe it. I've haven't seen many unicorns around Maretime Bay, but something about you seems... different.

She says that as her face turns serious, just as Solar's face changes to a worried look.

Izzy: It must be... *her face changes to her usually happy look* BECAUSE YOU'RE MY SECOND OFFICIAL UNICORN FRIEND HERE IN MARETIME BAY!"

She finishes with a cheerful pose. Solar takes a breath of relief, thinking for a second there that she was onto him, before saying "Yeah, that must be it" with a nervous smile.

The Pegasus princess's Zipp and Pipp then fly into the scene.

Zipp: Welcome back, Sunny.

They then notice the colt with her and go down on their hooves to welcome him.

Pipp: Oh look, you brought a new friend.

She pulls out her phone and takes a picture of him.

Zipp: Welcome to the Crystal Brighthouse kid. Where are your parents?

Sunny: Oh, they're out of town and he needs a place to stay.

Zipp: Really?

Pipp: We'll we can't just leave the poor colt alone. Welcome. I'm Pipp Petals, and this is my sister, Zipp Storm.

Solar: I'm Solar, nice to meet you all".

Sunny: Hitch will be off work in about an hour, you'll get to meet him too.

Solar: Hitch?"

Sunny: He's the town sheriff and Sparky's owner.

Sunny then offers Solar a tour of the Brighthouse, which he accepts.
