Part 5: The Dark Assailant's end part 5

Note: My plan was originally for it to be a headsman with an axe or sword, not a guillotine. Also to add a platform with stairs for either the guillotine or chopping block. But it was a lot easier and faster to make the art this way.

Later at night, Demise is dragged by the royal guards out to the courtyard and to the executioners block. The executioner is a royal guard with a black mask and axe.

A large crowd of creatures, mostly ponies, soon gather to watch her execution. The crowd of course consists of friends and family of the victims. The guards climb her up her steps and the executioner is ready.

Executioner: Scarlet Shadow...do you have any last words?

Guard: Maybe something to say to the victims' families?

Demise: Yeah...buck you all to Tartarus!

She tosses the cuffs off her front hooves onto the executioner, having somehow unlocked them before the execution, before kicking him off the steps. A guard tries to grab a hold of her from behind, but she dodges him by jumping up. Using her skills, she easily and quickly overpowers the 3 guards, using the deadly style Silat. She then starts running off, avoiding a few magic blasts from the Princesses. The entire crowd chases after her, soon becoming an angry mob with torches and pitchforks.

During the chase, she managed to get her dispersion ring off, which wasn't easy, enabling her to use her magic again.

She gets chased far away from Canterlot and into a forest. She eventually loses them, disappearing deep into the forest.

When the coast is clear, she stops running and uses her magic to give herself her assassin attire and arsenal back. Just then, the sound of a jetpack is heard. The escaped Gold Mine aka Lost Legacy, with his robotic armor, flies down from the sky, landing near her.

Lost Legacy: Miss me?

Demise: Just the pony I wanted to see... and slay!

She tosses several throwing knives from her suit at him, but he dodges them and catches the last one in his hoof. Demise then takes out her dagger and uses her magic to duplicate it into 10 knives, levitated up and surrounding Legacy. She fires them at him, all at once, but he protects himself with a forcefield at the last second, that they bounce off of.

Lost Legacy: How predictable.

Demise: I predict the grounds about to be soaked with your blood. I'll be sure to cut you up into more pieces than your brood of a wife!

The enranged mercenary points his gauntlet at her and fires a laser from it. She skillfully avoids it with an agile flip.

Demise: *Sways her hoof* Ah, don't let my words cut you deep...that's what my blades are for.

He uses his jetpack to fly up and around her, as he keeps firing the laser, as well as rockets from his shoulder-mounted rocket launchers. She avoids most of them using her agility and cuts apart some of the rockets with her katana before they hit her. After that, he lands and equips both his gauntlets' retractable blades, while Demise takes out a second katana and strikes a pose with them.

It begins to rain and music plays.

Notes: I'd suggest playing and listening to both these at the same time as you read the fight. It'll make it more epic and suspenseful

The assassin and mercenary fight using their blades, while moving around the forest. A clank sound is heard whenever their pieces of metal are struck together. We get a close up of Demise as she swings her katanas so fast that they appear as blurs. We then get a close up of Legacy, as he counters her katanas with his own blades.

Legacy strikes one of his blades forward in an attempt to impale her, but Demise dodges it and dashes behind him. She slashes his back, but her katana wasn't enough to completely cut through his metallic armor. Legacy turns around, swatting her away, and she hops onto her feet. Legacy sheaths his blades back into his gauntlets, before flying over to her with his jetpack. He grabs a hold of her and slams her hard against a tree, he flies too. He then pins her against the tree. The part of his helmet covering his eyes open, wanting to look her into the eyes as he kills her. He is growling under his breath.

Demise: She's still on your mind, isn't she?

Lost Legacy: You took her from me!

Demise: My apologies, sweetheart. Allow me to make amends... by reuniting you with her.

Using both legs, she kicks him away off her. She then fires a blast from her horn, that he doesn't have enough time to dodge. He gets hit and pushed back. Demise teleports in front of him and kicks him in the face, before jumping above him and delivering an even stronger kick, that makes him slide back. She quickly charges a blast from her horn that she fires at him. It knocks his helmet off and him down. Demise levitates one of her katanas on the ground back to her, before teleporting in front of him and trying to stab him in the head while he's down.

Lost Legacy quickly grabs a hold of the katana's blade with both his hooves. He struggles to hold it in place as Demise uses her strength to thrust it closer to his head. He is close to losing the struggle. He'd be sweating bullets, if it wasn't raining so hard. Luckily, his gauntlets' taser mode activates. The katana conducts the electricity and Demise gets shocked. Due to her having a high tolerance of pain, it doesn't stop her so easily, but eventually she forcefully lets go of the katana, allowing Legacy to get up.

She fires another blast at him, and he protects himself with his forcefield again. He points his gauntlet at her for the second time, but this time with a built-in cannon. A blue energy sphere is fired, that she does by jumping up, and it blows up a tree into bits. She jumps onto the branch of another tree, which he blasts to bits as well, missing her for the second time.

She grabs one of her katanas before running deeper into the forest, with him on her tail. He stops in another area with less trees, and looks around for her. She emerges from the shadows behind him and swings her katana at his neck. Before he can lose his head, he flies up.

He looks down at her and immediately fires another blast from his cannon. She rolls backwards and the explosive blast leaves a hole with smoke at where she was previously standing at. She fires a blast into the air. He flies out of the way, right before it hits him, and then flies down at her, with a retractable blade. They both swing their blades at each other and, after a suspenseful moment, Legacy's blade falls cut in half and Demise bleeds from a slash on the right side of her torso. She ignores the pain and tosses her katana away, before using her magic to poof up her trusty scythe, that she hasn't used in a while.

She teleports in front of him, and wastes no time swinging her scythe at him. He moves backwards dodging the scythe swings, before he grabs a hold of it. They both fight over it before he kicks her away and breaks the scythe over his knee.

She growls under her breath.

Demise: Bucker...

She levitates her katana back to her, like Mjolnir returning to Thor. Legacy, equips a built in flame thrower from his gauntlet that he fires at her. She drops the katana and flips back, narrowly avoiding being burnt alive. Due to the newel formed fire wall in front of him, Legacy can't see her. Taking advantage of this, she teleports behind him and puts him into a headlock. He struggles and tries to get her off him, to no avail. With a malice smile, she lets go off him before immediately wrapping her legs around his neck next. He is forced down to his knees, as his face begins to turn blue and is close to passing out.
