ALRIGHTY UH. THIS IS GONNA BE JUMBLED SINCE I JUST.. MADE THIS OUT OF NOWHERE MOOOSTLY. SO BEAR WITH ME.

I wanted to sketch this story idea I had for a bit, the characters are older and such in it which is why they look slightly different- and yes I updated the older Sonic design I had from here! However, it's just a random scene from.. near the end haha.

It's still a sketch, but I just put colours under it to see how it would look and I got a bit over board, I was having too much fun doing shading and just adding more stuff, so maybe it's overkill? That's why I was debating whether to upload this or not, because I don't think I'll come back to do the line art soon, I mean I hope I do one day but not right away lol.

ALSO THE VILLAIN THING I CAME UP WITH ON THE SPOT.. IT'S SOME EDGY DARK FINAL FORM OF ONE I'VE ALREADY DESIGNED. I just threw in a bunch of shadows and skulls and horns and uhh.. very very likely to get changed too lmao.

I'm happy with the bg, colours and shading though, which is why I wanna upload it. Even if it's in scraps.

Uhh story time; Sonic and friends are stuck in this world with this shadowy thing filled with broken bits of land and chains made of plasma energy stuff, and there's some black hole under them.. I'VE GOT THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY MORE FLESHED OUT I SWEAR. Not sure if I'll ever make a comic for it either so this isn't really spoiling anything, and this may not be final at all, I just liked the look.

Amy's outfit is inspired by one of the NPC's in SA1, her boots are inspired by pilot Sally Acorn and her hammer has a time stone in it because I remember Ian Flynn saying that she became an adventurer using the time stones during the 25 years later stories and I thought that was awesome. xD Maybe that forcefield is freezing whatever comes near them in time uhh.. I really did just throw this together man.

Oh and Tails is mostly the same as the 25 years later design, since I really like that one. But I don't think you can actually tell that in this pic. :')

In this pic Sonic's fallen from the sky and landed on that piece of land, Amy protects herself and Tails but Sonic's on his own here in front of the villain. And everything is getting sucked into the black hole.. thing.
