I was thinking to myself 'hey I really need to make Sonic art again soon' and BAM I randomly had a funny idea of Sonic just looking angrily into the distance while taking off his glasses, which is classic. After that I thought 'why not' in drawing him fully, which then resulted in him sitting down in one of those beach/holiday-like chairs, and then I added the table and a drink inspired by the ones from SA1. Thennnn I realised now that there's a table there should be at least a simple background, then it got more complicated, and then I wanted to add more, then I started to really make it look like the SA1 resort thingy BUT YEAH.

Some parts I'm not 100% about, but I thought it was cool I did something different, like the fire and clouds you can kindaaa see. And I really like how I did the lineart for Sonic, and his expression.
O yea I based his eyelids on SA1 too because since I'm already onto that theme why not haha.

I added the explosion smoke and fire and particles to really emphasise that Eggman or whoever is probably up to something and Sonic's gotta stop his holiday time again idk. It was probably too much. And also the smoke thing is probably too close.
First time making that sorta thing in full colour so hey it's a learning process. (I also probably drew the glasses and hand wrong too, eh)

When I make art like this where I'm conflicted about it all I feel like i'm gonna delete it any second lmao. Let's see how long I can do this.

Gonna try to make full pics at least once every day or few, I have a bunch of sketches I can do lineart+colour+bgifIwanttoandifIhavetime for. I'm also sorting out portfolio stuff and planning on making more animations and storyboards for said portfolio haha.

Now I'm actually wondering if the effects are just too much and if it needs a filter or anything.
