Whee, my favorite character from Xenosaga, Ziggy! He's nekked, but being a cyborg, well, no one really minds
Just a little weirdo thing about what he might have looked like when first put together.

Okay, I really must comment on this one, because ... well ... hehe ...
Lately I've been fascinated with the idea of what he looks like under his clothes, since he never seems to take them off (you'd think he'd get bored wearing the same thing all the time ...). I like how you imagined his body as a fusion of organic and artificial components, with the metal stuff extending all the way up to his chest ... it suggests that the boundary between human and machine is not entirely clear, which seems like an accurate reading of his character. It almost looks as if he's being gradually consumed by the machine (I know that sounds weird, sorry 
And aside from that, I really like how you captured his expression ... and those luminous blue eyes, wow.

I'm not sure if that's where they got the name from... in the game it's a pet name for 'Ziggurat', of course, heh. Unfortunately I don't know a lot about David Bowie, but I've seen it mentioned in connection with the character before. ^^

Ziggy Stardust was the name of a album by David Boewie, it featured songs about space, aliens and other sci-fi and spiritual theamed stuff
plus, Ziggurat really looks familiar to Bowie in his yonger yeares
