Today was the day! Lilypad Town was waiting for its newest resident. The young skunk grabbed her rolling suitcase and headed for the train station with her ticket in hand. The seats were comfy and soft. She soon found herself dozing off to the lull of the train. Hours later, she awoke with a jolt as the train came to a halt. Brooke quickly gathered her things and headed out the door. She took a few steps before realizing it was freezing cold. Her family had told her it was going to be winter, but it was such a difference from where she had been. It was afternoon now and the town was looking very busy with new villagers moving in. Some were having a snowball fight, another was building a snowman. Even one was reading a book! There were also many who also got off the train and were heading into town with their bags and luggage. Brooke shivered a bit, as her fur was still thin from the warm weather in her town, that was not in winter yet. Still, this town seemed absolutely lovely and she was excited to be moving in and start making new friends.
