For those who've followed my artwork before, you might recognize this lovely mechanical lady, Crystal Andrews. i'd designed her a number of years ago, but sat down one evening with my good buddy Popabear and we redesigned her. i tried to keep her fairly close to the original design of being sleek and smooth and not quite as "robotic" looking.. well, as you can see, it didn't quite turn out that way. lol

i still like how she came out, but expect to see several more images of crystal, as she's going to be redesigned at least a couple more times. this picture also brings in several of the new techniques that i've learned and picked up on from popabear, including the thick-outline and dark-filler methods, among others.

Crystal Andrews is copyright to me. so please ask first if you'd like to draw her. i'll likely give you permission, but i'd like you to honor me by asking first.
