This is so blue it hurts [in a good way], sort of the shade that brings back memories, some good, some bad but all of the make you want to go back. I won't whine for a bigger image, this'll do, I don't think I could handle more blueness. Great job!

Mad as shot. Detail, water droplets, all sweet as! And you dont see many blue roses around, which makes it even better!

Scientists have found a way to create a real blue rose, and it doesn't involve putting blue food coloring into the flower's water. Read about it here:

That's awesome! However, I didn't add dye to this one... I just messed with the colors in Photostudio.

I love this. It is truly beautiful. I love the colour, it is so rich and when put against those rain drops, wow! I really like that you have cropped the side of the flower off, but I think the center of the flower should be further up. A simple composition tweak, but a great photo with stunning beauty.

Very beautiful. I love the captured water on the blue petals but it's a pity it starts to lose focus and blur towards the lower half of the piece. Interesting angle however.

Wow, that is stunning. Did you recolor? If not, what kind of rose is this? I have a Bluegirl rose but it's not a true blue.

I'm not normally a fan of photography, but, this picture has won me over. I really like the detail you can see with the dew drops, and the blue color is very tranquil/soothing, pleasing to the eye. I read the in some of the above comments, and I agree that the center of the rose should be more towards the middle of the picture to draw the eye in, but not necessarily having the rose facing the camera in a head-on shot, if you will. (Man, I just make no sense, huh? >)

This is gorgeous. I adore it. The colors are just so flowing. The intensity is increased by the depth of the flower and the color. Positively beautiful. Nice job. Thank you for sharing this with me.

I think the way you laid this out is spot on. I love how the centre of the flower is right down in the corner and you can really only see a small section of the flower. It looks great! Well done

Lovely macro shot. The blue is really nice, was the rose naturally blue or did you use colour-balanced film or something? I don't think I've ever seen a blue rose before...
Anyway. Composition. I think it's fine to have a bit of black background, and the off-centre thing is a nice touch. However, I think you could move the rose just a bit to the right and up. Off-centre is fine, but off-balance is not. Actually, no, cropping is not the answer to this. You should include more rose to the left and the bottom. Yeah, that would be the way to go. It'd give you a chance to show the petals at a different angle, too, which would be interesting.
The water droplets look great, I like how you've been able to keep them from falling off the rose But I think you got some on your lens...
Anyway, this is really good. You made me forget for a second that I hate flower photos ^^

Exellent Shot, I simply love the colours that have been shown here, The way that the water droplets exagerate the colour is very cool, aswell as the subtle hints of purple too, awesome shot

This beautiful image insites a very deep emotional feeling. The calming blue color signifys a feeling of hope and encouragement while maintaining an iroic detachment of the situation. The deep detail and clairty make this image technically outstanding! The small flattering outlining frame give this image a professional touch. The water droplets were caught so well that I can almost feel the wetness on my fingertips. Its so real I can almost smell that rose. SUPERB!

Very beautiful shot, love the rich blues and the jewel-like water droplets. However I'm a bit uncertain about the composition, personally I would slash (prune if you will) the top off so that the centre of the rose is further up in the picture - at present I feel that it's too low compositionally. I'd crop off down to where the top-right droplets end. I feel it would make the photo much more intimate. Also I don't know if you're anti-Photoshop but I'd try auto-levelling it to bring out the lights in the image.
