The couple had requested a giant cake baked in the shape of an engine with a tender, with white frosting, chocolate in the tender, and chocolate for the boiler pinstriping and lining. It was a tall order, but the Head Chef of M.C Bunn Bakery had worked night and day to bake, assemble, and decorate the cake for Elizabeth to collect the morning of the wedding, while all of the refreshments were being set up for the reception after the service out in the station yard. Elizabeth was steamed up extra early by none other than Sir Topham Hatt himself.
