"Halo. (Hello.)" Carrie said in Gaelic. "Ciamar a tha thu? (How are you doing?)"

"Tha mi math. Is mise Dòmhnall, is e seo Doulgas. (I'm good. I'm Donald and this is Douglas.)" Donald replied.

"I can tell by your accent that you're from Lanarkshire. Are you..." Carrie asked in English. Donald was impressed and began to try and woo her when Douglas interrupted him.

"McIntosh engines? Yes we are, we're both from St. Rollox. Let me guess, you're from Cowlairs? There's a J88 somewhere around here, too." Douglas answered Carrie. Donald was rather miffed at his brother for trying to push him out of a Scot to Scot conversation. He began to suspect Douglas was trying to woo her before he could get the chance.
