Molly explained her feelings about Murdoch. Proteus was a bit confused by what she was trying to explain. Even though she had no knowledge about relationships, she still wanted to help her.

"I think if you have feelings for someone, you should tell them. It's not going to do anyone any good if all you do is just keep them to yourself. And, even if they don't like you back, at least you got it off your frames. There's a saying that goes something like...what is it?"

"'Tis better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all." Interjected Sir Handel as he puffed in with some slate trucks. "Honestly, Proteus, you shouldn't be giving other engines advice about things you don't know about. Sorry about all of this, she's still learning!" Even though Sir Handel had butted in and cut her off from giving Molly any more relationship advice, it seemed to make sense to her. Why shouldn't she confess her feelings to Murdoch when he had already seemed to express his happiness at seeing her?
