Description
"Emily." Edward said."Yes?" Emily wondered. Edward's driver came out holding the item Edward had requested to be knitted. Illuminated by the glow of lamps and the shining half-moon, Emily's face lit up with excitement. "Oh my goodness, it's so cute!!!!" She squealed with delight. Edward had requested a heart knitted with the same color threads as her paint, and on it was a stylishly knitted letter E which was blue and red, his own colors. He then looked at Chris and Drew as they gave one another affectionate looks and knew what he had to do. "Thank you!"
"You're welcome, happy Valentine's Day." Edward replied, meekly. He was blushing uncontrollably at Emily's delighted reaction and she began to notice.
"While we're at this." Emily said. "Yes." That was all she said.
"Yes, what?" Edward wondered, innocently. Emily giggled at this.
"Yes, I'll be your girlfriend." She replied. Edward's face went red with embarrassment.
"How did you know I was going to ask you out?!" Edward squeaked, his voice going up several octaves.
"Honestly, I can read you like a book! But," Emily said. "It's your innocence that makes you so cute and that's why I love you. I'm through holding back my feelings, I know they're real and I know you accept them." Chris was most impressed by Edward's exploits.
"Well done, Edward!" He chuckled. "I taught him that one." He bragged to Drew.
"No you didn't!" Drew snapped. Indeed, Drew was equally happy for Emily that she was now happy again after what had happened between her and Edward, and the two couples had a lovely evening at the craft fair.
